Zena Consulting LLC is a boutique communications firm founded by Lee Mozena in 2008; to help business and nonprofit leaders compete and grow in an increasingly complex USA. Our core services include: Leadership Communication, Conflict Management, and Inclusion Training.

I launched this firm because very smart people kept asking me:


"How do we engage new communities?", and,  "How do we manage teams that work together better despite our differences?"


These accomplished professionals felt unprepared for the growing cultural complexity in their organizations and weren't sure where to turn.


Cultural competency was once delegated to specialists. 


Today, it's part of leadership throughout your career.


You don't have to know everything—just which changes matter to your organization and how to respond effectively.


Since 2008, I've helped leaders and teams navigate culture, conflict, and change through strategic communication, leadership development, facilitation, and conflict resolution.


My strengths-based approach starts with self-awareness and an Adaptive Leadership search for solutions.


Most challenges aren't caused by differences themselves, but by misunderstandings or communication gaps rooted in a combination of technical and adaptive problems.


I help leaders communicate effectively across different experiences, expectations, perspectives, and stakeholder groups—especially when the issues are nuanced, the stakes are high, or the next steps aren't clear.

A Navy veteran, he enjoys working with   technical professionals, based on decades of experience in engineering and program management. Ron is the CEO of Wolf Management Solutions.

Tina brings deep expertise in fundraising and organizational development, grounded in a 30-year career in the nonprofit sector. 


As Founder and CEO of MissionCraft Partners, she partners with teams, boards, and C-suite leaders to guide growth and navigate change—building financially sustainable futures. 

Lee helped me resolve a mess with my biggest client. I was ready to walk away- cost be damned. She asked me to look at the growth opportunity and take responsibility for my part of the problem. I had an honest chat with the client that repaired the rift and set healthy boundaries moving forward.
